Men on Boats follows Major John Wesley Powell and his crew of “men” as they travel through The Grand Canyon in the first government subsidized exploration of the canyon. With the primary conflict of this show being the environment the crew had to travel through, I wanted them to interact not only with their environment through sound, but also for the environment to interact with them and the audience in a believable and cohesive world.
