A Christmas Carol follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a “cold, clutching, covetous old sinner,” on his journey through the past, present, and future guided by spirits. As he learns of the fates of those around him, and his own fate, he begins to realize that life isn’t just about your own material possessions, but the time spent with those around you and those who love you. This show has many different moods and themes, from the horror of Jacob Marley to the playfulness of the Ghost of Christmas Past. The emphasis put on these different aspects supported the cast through the show and helped to drive the story and action.
